Reoccurring ear infections

I have had problems with my one ear for the last 20 months. Reoccurring infections and the feeling of having glue ear.

I have had extensive investigation with an ENT privately through my work BUPA scheme. I've had an MRI, CT scan, camera up nose. He couldn't find anything.

I've got a bloody awful infection at the moment which feels like it us getting worse. Saw my GP yesterday and he gave me some antibiotic drops. Today however I feel like I have neuralgia coming on I have had this and sinus issues before and that was excruciatingly painful. I don't know whether because I am so run down my immune system is not able to fight it off.

Has this happened to anyone else?
