Clarithromycin and evil taste?

I am taking this for a nasty infection from an insect bite. I know I need to take it (this is attempt 3 at getting it sorted), but it as left me with an awful taste in my mouth.

Will it go or am I stuck with it for the next week? Can I do anything to reduce it?

Eurgh! I feel grim.

DS2 has the suspension of this for recurrent infections & it is nasty. Sorry to say I think the taste does just linger to a degree. He does have a strong flavoured sweet afterwards as that helps a little. Hope you're soon on the mend.

Thank you, I'm preparing a Nutella sandwich to eat after this dose- no sweets around, but I think I'll buy chewing gum today.
