Sore throat after using oven pride?

I cleaned the oven this evening and now my throat is quite sore, anyone else had this?

Actually I only got as far as cleaning the shelves that were in the bag and haven't finished the actual oven.

Should I be worried?

It happens to me with fresh paint, certain perfumes & some cleaners. Seems to me that some throats are rather sensitive to certain chemicals.

Just warm gargle & leave the throat alone. Fresh air helps. Avoid that particular cleaner & strong smells in general I'm future.

Thanks I've used it before but never had this although usually I keep windows and back door open but as it was thundering with rain they were closed. Stupid of me really

Yes the closed room would've definitely affected a sensitive throat.

Sometimes I also get a runny nose & headache! Hmm

Funnily enough I do alway get flu like symptoms after decorating too, very odd!

I've always thought of it as a mild allergy. My dad has the same, so it never surprised me.
