It's not a spot so what is it ?

on my face a painless spot type thing,any ideas anyone?

I had a spot (well, boil really in the end) on my knee which was result of a fall - a few of the 'reproducing' skin cells got into the wrong layer of my skin and were reproducing away but with no means of escape as it were. You probably don't want me to explain the 'operation' I had at the drs - was like squeezing a large spot...(sorry!)

Its been there about a week and is the size of a small spot ,it is just sort of skin colour.It is painless and is about an inch away from my nose.
I keep picking at it because i can it see out the corner of my eye.

No not that i know of.

Will have to defer to jasper who by the looks of her long list of qus has greater knowledge in this dept...
