My mum is currently in hospital. Initially pneumonia was diagnosed as there was a shadow on one side on the X-ray. Today, the diagnosis has changed to bronchitis as they have realised that the shadow was caused by her breast implant (she had breast cancer about 12yrs ago).
Would I be right in thinking that bronchitis would normally be less serious and a quicker recovery period?
