my dd 18 months just got a hold of the pot of vaseline, not sure how much she actually ate... not too much i think but wondering if it's going to make her sick? shoud i bring her to the doctor or is it relatively safe? tried googling but no help there... any advice would be much appreciated!

I don't think I'd worry about it, it's fairly inocuous.

YOu can use it on your lips for chapping, so it's OK - not nice of course, but will be fine

well she hasn't thrown up and seems happy enough so if all we're gonna have is a nasty nappy i'll be happy, thanks for the reassurance!

you're a better mummy than me , when my 17mth stuffs her face with it (i keep hiding it) I just tut, shake my head and hide the stuff - YET again. She seems addicted to the stuff.
