Borderline diabetes, a virus or something else? Any ideas?

Are you likely to have diabetes (heavy, and lots of diabetics in family)? The fainting, tiredness, exhaustion, and peeing all sound like diabetes.

In the interim, if you can have a low-gi diet, that will be better for you if it is diabetes.

And do you get sugar cravings? How about mood swings and faintness when you eat too much sugar?

Also, the older you are, the higher the risk.

Did you have gestational diabetes, or particularly big babies?

Diabetes sounds quite unlikely, given all that. But still possible, I guess? It's a bit alarming that you're fainting, but have to wait a week for results. You could hurt yourself, fainting. And untreated diabetes can do lots of damage.

To test properly for diabetes, they'd want to do a fasting blood sugar, at least.

I'd consider A+E if it gets worse before you have results.

Urine infections (I know it tested negative) sometimes give you sugar in your urine
