AF & General Anaesthetic

Possibly tmi but I'm having a general anaesthetic on Friday and my period has just started. What is the protocol for such a situation?!
I'll be staying in hospital overnight too.

Wear a thick pad, and take enough for the night. The nurses will help you change them if you need them too, although most people manage better than they think.
