couple of Q's on slapped cheek

Hi,I'm fed up,my holiday has started and I went to the doctors yesterday and I've got slapped cheek.Didn't think to ask at the time but does anyone know if it's catching am worried about the kids getting it?Also how long before my face goes back to normal please,it's massive?

Have a look at this - it might be reassuring! By the time the rash appears you're usually not contagious.
