I posted recently about my mum who had developed a chest infection and was still feeling exhausted 3 weeks after. Her energy levels are returning and so has her appetite but she still has a cough into the 5 th week. I know alot of people kindly reassured me on my last post about recovery time, but how long should the cough last. I know there is a horrible viral cough doing the rounds here but just wondered how long a cough should last? As I say she is feeling a lot better so is it worth going back to GP?
