Smear test and possible thrush

Have finally booked for my smear test but I think I may have thrush (never had it before) high temp, run down and sore/burning fanjango in the cervical area.

Should I still go and see the nurse or cancel and go to the doctor?

You don' get a temperature with thrush, I would book doctors appointment in case you have an infection and make another appointment for your smear test.

Thank you I'll get on the redial button for a doctors appointment.

Wouldn't mind but I'd actually bucked up the courage to go for my smear, I am slightly nervous

They may be able to do at the same time, if not book it on your way out.

We'll done for booking one though, i have had about 8 smears in total and they are really nothing to worry about. My last one was just before Christmas and I had a really chatty nurse that I hardly noticed what she was doing!
