Nerve pain ?

All day yesterday I had a horrible pain at top of my left leg and across and through my bum cheek, it feels like somebody has pushed an electrified hot needle through me (sorry that's the only way to explain it!)

I didn't sleep much last night due to the pain and its really irritating me now. I do get problems with my hip that side but never had this before.

Any ideas? Is it just a trapped nerve?

Sciatica - so yes, nerve pain.

I thought that affected the back didnt realise it could be leg/hip/bum as well.

I will keep taking painkillers and hopefully it'll go !

Oh yes, I've had this for the last year. Had chiropractic treatment and NHS physio but the only thing that has helped is pilates. The stretching and building of core (support) muscles is definitely doing it for me!
