Very sore ribs have now started clicking

The pain is worse than the first few days.
I suspect that they are bruised/broken at between 3-5. Any touch to the sternum hurts like aagh.

From reading, it seems that there is no point going any NHS service.

Can anybody tell me about their ribs healed?

I feel your pain.

I fell downstairs almost four weeks ago and landed on my back rib at the bottom. It hurt A LOT when it happened and then continued to hurt A LOT. It's improved in the last few days but I've been forced to take time off work and not overdo things physically.

I went to A&E when it happened just to check it was nothing more serious, but they didn't even x ray it (they no longer x ray for fractured ribs in the absence of any complications). I was sent home with super strength co-codamol and told it would take 6 to 8 weeks to heal.

I would go and get it checked if I were you and take some pain killers asap!

I've now had some co codamol (OTC) much better than just paracetamol.

Is the clicking that I have on my sternum and back of neck normal?
