So for a while I've been getting inflammation across my shoulders - looks like back fat but isn't, goes down from time to time, feels as if there's a rubber sheet between the skin and the muscle - so I can feel my skin but there's a numbness underneath.
And now I seem to have it down my back, with added catches and spasms around the edges - so if the worst is in a diamond that starts between shoulder blades and finishes just above my waist, there's random additional stop moving points around the lumbar spine.
I had a massage yesterday and the therapist said it felt like post-spasmodic muscle, full of lactate. It had started the day before (on waking) and by then I'd taken lots of muscle relaxants and painkillers. It's now back to feeling squeezed, and with cold spots and dizziness.
So - anyone else? I probably have fibromyalgia, definitely have hypermobility syndrome, and really need to get on top of this. Shoulders I can work around but back is way more tricky...
