Unintentional (but not Unexplained) Weight loss ...

I "normally" start losing baby weight about 9 months after a DS comes out (at least that's what's happened both times). This time, the weight loss just seems to be carrying on. It's slow weight loss, not fast. (Last time I ended up 3 or so kg down from my normal prebabies weight, this time I'm another 6kg down or so.)

But I'm not trying to lose weight, and I'm getting sick of clothes not fitting. I'm not thin, it's ok for me to be losing weight, but I don't actually need to lose weight.

I'm having a bit of a shit year, and my appetite is mostly broken. I'm running a lot, to keep my mood up. So the weight loss isn't unexplained. (And I'm not thirsty + peeing a lot, it's not diabetes.) I feel mostly ok, physically. But wondering, should I be going to the GP?

It could be your thyroid, my weight drops off even though I'm eating like a pig, as I have hyperthyroidism.
A blood test will tell you if anything is causing it.
As you say stress can cause it too
Hope you get it sorted though

I'm eating reasonable amounts, but more healthily. (I keep wanting ice cream, but having oranges instead.)

I don't think the weight loss is unexplained. Oh, did I mention I am breastfeeding, too? DS2 is 22 months, but feeds quite a bit.
