Vomiting bug - how long before it spreads?

DD was sick a few days ago - some vomiting and diarrhea, but otherwise seemed fairly chipper. She's been mostly off food other than bread and cereal for a few days, though.

Last night I started feeling queasy and gassy after dinner, then spent most of the night throwing up (even water was coming back up) and having diarrhea. I've also been feeling shivery and achy Confused Could this be the sickness that DD had, or might it be food poisoning? We don't eat animal products but we did have a sauce made from coriander leaves for dinner - if they weren't washed well, might that cause food poisoning? (DH also has diarrhea but no vomiting.)

DD is 2 and still BFing, btw. It's fun times in our house today Hmm

Sounds like the same bug. Depending on exposure I think the incubation period is up to about 5 days!

Same going on in this house- sounds like the bug. Dd was sick Friday night and generally grotty on Saturday, mahoosive explosive nappies yesterday then me and dp were up during the night last night with d & v. We've both been achy and shivery all day today. Nasty. Hope you're all better soon.

Thanks! DH made dinner last night and is paranoid that he's poisoned us both. Will be nice to reassure him Smile
