Who is he? recognise the name but just cant place him.

Frieda · 30/07/2006 22:53

Yes, that is a bit shocking, Enid, and sad. However I think he smoked very, very heavily - 100 a day on a bad day and never less than 50. Any idea how old he is?

WideWebWitch · 30/07/2006 22:54

He's 71, there was a thread about it earlier on.

Frieda · 30/07/2006 22:54

PFNM - he's the author of "The Easy Way to Give up Smoking" - has helped 100s of people give up (inc me )with his method.

WideWebWitch · 30/07/2006 22:56

Me too, I've read the book both times. Frieda, you haven't been here for a while have you? Welcome back if you're the same Frieda.

Frieda · 30/07/2006 23:07

Hi www - yes - lovely to be remembered - just been having a similar conversation with Janh. I do get on every now and again, but it's usually about this time of night when I'm too knackered to post anything intelligent and all the really interesting threads take about an hour to read . Always get good advice here, though

DelGirl · 30/07/2006 23:09

I gave up 6 years ago using his method. The lady who took the session died of lung cancer too

notasheep · 31/07/2006 20:19

OMG he is my hero

Elibean · 01/08/2006 11:01

his book did it for me, too. Picturing that Nicotine Monster. Damn Nicotine Monster (or could it just possibly be one of the not-smoking-related lung cancers??).

My friend's dh just died of LC, two weeks after their dd's christening - horrid, horrid disease.
