Killer boobs and PMS

PMS has become increasingly brutal since I had DC and turned 36. There's a strong history of early menopause in my family (39, 40 and 41) so it's probably related.

I can handle most of the symptoms but my boobs are killing me lately for a full week before my period arrives.
I take 2,000mgs evening primrose oil and Vitamin B complex, and have had to wear a sports bra 24 hours a day.

Barring the taking of ibuprofen for a week, does anybody have anything that works to relieve it?

Forgot to add I'm not on any hormonal contraception.

No, but I feel your pain, I've had this all my adult life, I have seen the docs lots of times but all they do is suggest EPO. I really don't feel it's something they take seriously even though it is quite debilitating. Cutting down on caffeine and maintaining a healthy weight are supposed to help but I struggle with those. I do have different bras I wear when mine are sore, wearing a looser bra, maybe even wearing a bra in bed, one of those soft ones. I will also take ibuprofen if mine are bad. Sorry I can't offer any more help.

Try agnus castus. From holland and Barrett. I took this primarily for my boob ache and within about a week they were pain free which was amazing. In addition I suddenly felt much more cheerful, though it hadn't occurred to me that I was all that moody before, it was quite a surprise to feel so good. Also my skin was lovely. I stopped taking it because I had some random spotting after my period and this stopped within a few days of stopping the agnus castus. It is a herb that regulates hormones so I think this was a side effect. I am going yo start taking it again as the benefits outweigh the side effects for me and I'm hoping after a few months the spotting will cease!! It was lovely to have soft pain free boobs, and mine aren't even very big! Try it, it seems to be generally accepted as a very safe herb but I'm not sure if it interacts with hormonal contraception.

Thanks for the replies!
I have Agnus Castus actually. I took it for a while in an attempt to lengthen my cycle, so will try taking it again.
I'm not overweight but I'm a coffee addict, must try cutting down!
