Can anyone advise please? So worried

I found a lump in my neck some time ago. As I thought it could be a lymph gland, I decided to wait and see what it did. Have a doc appointment later this week but am worried because it is bigger now :( any advice please? Thanks.

Not an expert but I have had this and while you are absolutely right to go to the doctor, I think they are v commonplace. I had no obvious infection in the area and it went away in time. Lymph glands do swell harmlessly a very great deal.
