For a few days now I have had a sort of headache only it isn't a headache. There is no constant feeling, but every day, at different times of day, I have been feeling any combination of these things:
a burning feeling in my head - over temples or eyes, or right in the middle of my head
sometimes a feeling of pressure
neck ache - the back of my neck mainly, stretching up to the back of my head
less frequently, aching along my jawline
less frequently, a momentary tenderness at the front of my neck in the crease where the jaw joins the neck.

I know headaches that last longer than 24 hours are cause for a visit to the GP but this isn't a headache as such, more a sore feeling head. And it comes and goes constantly.

I feel well in myself otherwise.

I am worried the GP will think I am a hypochondriac if I make an appointment.

Your GP won't think you're a hypochondriac.

But he/she might think you're an idiot if you delay going to get this problem checked out.

Get yourself along to that surgery! Wink
