My dad is going for an interview with a consultant about a hip replacement this week - a procedure that is made more complex due to an RTA many years ago that shattered his hip. He's really scared and I want to help him prepare as best he can - any suggestions for the kind of questions he should be asking to make sure:
a) he's confident and prepared for what will happen
and
b) the consultant knows he's clued up and won't try and fob him off with the 'idiot's guide' version
Would really appreciate any help. TIA.
