I have got one immediately behind my knee on my right leg, and a small one on my left thigh, quite near the top of my leg.
I noticed earlier that they are quite red on the top. I spotted the one on my thigh first as, odd as it sounds, it had the appearance of a stretch mark, the same sort of dark red/purple colour that they are. Then I looked at the one behind my knee. it has 5 lumps of veing and the tip of each is a reddish purple.
They aren't, nor have they ever been, sore or itchy.
Does anyone else ahve varicos veins and is this normal? Becasue I don't get bother from them i tend to forget they are there
