Firstly I should say that im severely disabled with another condition, I have so much going on it has taken me a long time to work out there is a problem with my stomach, and it may well be related but I'm just wondering if it sounds like something anyone recognizes?
I am just checking really as if you have an existing condition everything gets blamed on that (& there is a history of that happening). It feels quite separate to the other stuff, no overlapping symptoms etc.
So anyway, my stomach... Every 3-5 days I get this all over 'something isn't right inside' feeling and then it develops into a hot & cold shivering feeling and pain in my upper stomach, to the point where I feel very sick and shivery and sweating.
Then for about 4-6 hrs I'm just in this state and it kind of feels like my insides are frozen, or blocked or not moving/ not working at all. This is the worst bit as it feels like the pain (spasms?) and the sweating and shivering will never stop.
Then after that (& after taking antacid / or that stuff to make you pass wind), for about another 6-8 hrs I can feel the pain slowly moving downwards and through my system. Lying curled up helps a bit, and also trying to fart to relieve the bloated feeling (sorry tmi).
Then finally I can poo and after the first poo I then have diarhorea and the pain and spasms slowly go like I've emptied my system.
So... Sound familiar in any way? Ive always had IBS (self diagnosed), but it's different from that, I thought that was bad but this is really indescribable and it makes me feel 'all over' unwell rather than very stomach, bloating, cramps & diarhorea focused.
Sorry I just want to see if these are classic symptoms of something before I blame it on the usual...
