I need to go and see someone as my self treatment isn't making it better but I'm not sure which would be best, Osteo and physio.
I have pain around my hip area which after some self diagnosis I have concluded is insertion of TFL and sure enough, TFL stretches or work on the roller are agony.
It's not stopping me doing anything (running, Pilates, BMF, tennis etc) as the pain is more to touch and when I first start exercise but I appreciate that it's been going on too long and I need to get it treated properly.
Any thoughts please?
TIA

Physio at a sports rehab centre. Pure Sport attached to some David Lloyd gyms are very good IME.

May be different in your location. I'm SW London and pretty spoiled for choice.

Physio - it could be referred from your lower back - you need assessment and some good hands-on release techniques. In the meantime you could try alternate hot/cold packs on the area.

Thanks guys. I don't know of any Pure Sports near here but I do know a few sports physios so I'll make an appt for next week. Appreciate your replies.
