How long to wait for mri results?

I had a head MRI last Friday. If it was serious, would I have heard by now? It was for tinnitus and weird symptoms in head (tingling, cracking, feeling 'full').

Should be with a week I would have thought, but you might have to phone hospital or consultant to get results. These days, scans are digital so can be 'emailed' to consultant, even if he is miles away. (at least, mine were).

So chase it up, I would advise.

7-10 days where I am. to request the result call whoever referred you for it whether it was the gp or a consultant.

I have been holding off phoning, no news is good news. I know this is not the way to approach it really. Head in sand...
