Weird reaction to nettle stings :o(

Me, not the kids

have got about 20 stings on my right arm from plunging it into nettles while picking blackberries. At first they did the usual little white bumps, I applied crushed dock leaves, the sting went away but the bumps stayed.

Now I have really big raised lumps and my whole arm is tingling like buggery. It's very uncomfortable

Anyone know a remedy?

Eurax. Fab stuff.

And take some anti-histhamines.

Ah, yes, plump lovely blackberries....

I picked a kilo from my very own garden this weekend, from my thornless blackberry bush, in my nettle free garden....which has now been transformed into bramble jam.....let this be a lesson to you .

Have you taken the antihisthamines?

In all seriousness, nettle stings really do hurt for sometime afterwards, a pinprick type sensation when you touch the area. Im guessing its due to the fine hairs that cause the sting in the first place.

Change yer name to Lumpysleeves then
I'd have a bath (not too hot)with a few drops of lavender oil in and it should be fine by the morning.
