Having a Loop Biopsy on Thurs....

and I was wondering what to expect in terms of pain / bleeing afterwards?

Does it hurt more than the punch biopsy? (2 attempts as the first didn't get much) To be fair I have no feeling / sensation in my cervix at all (awful birth)

When can I start exercising again etc etc ?

Do you mean a lletz? I had one in November and another in December. Minimal but persistant bleeding with both which lasted about 4 weeks each time. I started running after 2/3 weeks but took it very easy. Worst part was not being able to have a bath - I love my baths. It will be fine...

Oh and it doesnt hurt any more than the punch biopsy...well the first one didn't, I had a general for the second.

Thanks Fulla - ok, i'll take it easy then. It was described as "Loop". I'll check with consultant.
I tend to do zumba, body pump, CX, body combat type classes. Maybe see how long bleeding lasts! Didn't think it would be 4 weeks
