Hot flushes and night sweats

Hi I'm 44 and stopped taking the contraceptive pill 6weeks ago. Since then I've had terrible hot flushes and night sweats but no other changes. Has anyone else experienced this? Obvs it could be menapause related but it seems too much of a coincidence that it's happened exactly when I stopped taking the pill. X

I haven't been on the pill but I am 42 and defo having night sweats. It is prob related to th pill. When i had my children, I sweated terribly afterward for a number of weeks. Now like u, I think I'm changing. I had to have if for my kids as my hormones weren't right at 36.
