Just wanted to share my good news - lung function is up from last time. ENO - exhaled nitric oxide levels are down = a good thing.
FVC - forced vital capacity is highest it has ever been = good thing too!

Currently on -

4 x a day 250 flixotide
4x a day 250 seretide
1x a day spiriva
1x a day 10mg montelukast
1x a day cetirezine
40mg predniselone until the 3rd Jan

Increase cetirezine as required
Piriton as required
Salbutamol 5mg nebules as required
Atrovent nebules as required

No hosp admissions since September! Started Spiriva at that admission and not been in since! Spiriva not actually lisenced for my condition, is usually used for COPD, but I agreed to them trying me on it and seems to be helping. That and them agreeing I can have a new additional relief med for my home nebuliser seems to be keeping me out the hotel de la NHS! Hooray! Long may it continue! :)

I remember when my asthma was out of control a few years ago, Spiriva was the only thing after the inhalers and steroids that actually calmed the asthma down. I was told too it was used for COPD but it worked a treat.
