Pain in my bottom

I will be making a doctors appointment but just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar. For the last week I have had sore feeling in my bottom. Sometimes it feeks like it is up inside me but other times it feels like it is an ache on the outside that radiates into my buttocks. I have been quite stressed so wonder if it caused from holding muscles tense . I have never known that I have piles but just wondered if internal ones would feel like this? Been lifting a poorly 4 year

Sorry should have said - been lifting a poorly 4 year old around a lot so could it be caused by this. I am trying to avoid the dreaded dr google!

Does it hurt when you do a poo? I've had piles since my son was born and that feels like an ache too, but not out to the cheeks.

As Soursweets says - does it happen after you have been to the loo?

I have suffered for the past few months - with piles and an anal fissure. I think the fissure was the worst though. After a poo it would be aching and throbbing for over an hour each time. But piles can be strangely uncomfortable, with a long lasting 'ache' also.

Get to the GP - and get it sorted out.

Not exactly pain when I do a bm but afterwards I feel a slight creepy crawly feeling like something is there inside me. Not sure if that makes sense? Feels a bit less sore today just a sensation.

Could be a haemorrhoid then. a lot of people have small internal piles with no ill effect. It can feel like you haven't quite finished pooing?

Thanks for your replies. Yes it does it feel a bit like that. Can anyone recommend anything to apply internally that works?

You can buy amusol etc over the counter, but Gp will be able to prescribe stronger cream with hydro cortisone in, which should help to shrink anything.

It truly is better to catch these things early if you can.

Mine were quite bad, and I am just recovering from surgery..

Hope you can fix.it!
