[ahem]...you are not the only one.

southeastastra · 22/07/2006 16:58

haha its all that clenching

surroundedbyboys · 22/07/2006 17:03

but it puts me off doing them so its actually a real problemo. relived am not a freak and you get it too aitch. can io ask about the state of yer pf? wondering if it will ease as pf gets stronger.

do you know what? i have never found it to be a problem...
my pf is in good nick and always was before, as i have always enjoyed a bit of what southeastastra calls 'clenching' in a boring situation. at traffic lights, long bank queues,IYKWIM?
and the sexual frustration situation is easily rectified... i hope i don't sound unsympathetic but can't you just do the deed? ;)

aitch71 · 22/07/2006 17:29

and by 'the deed' i mean with or without company...

surroundedbyboys · 22/07/2006 19:39

yes, but for me it is not a feeling of pleasure or arousal, rather real frustration. not sure if i know how to explain it well, but it is not a good feeling really. i suppose i could try to do the deed and see if it eases, but it doesn't feel that way. mmm. any others feel the same?

poppiesinaline · 22/07/2006 19:58

do pf exercises do this to you ? really must do them more then

surroundedbyboys · 22/07/2006 20:37

am beginning to feel like a bit of a freak. no-one else?

OP posts:
southeastastra · 22/07/2006 20:38

what do you mean though? perhaps you're doing too much?

aitch71 · 22/07/2006 21:06

maybe it doesn't feel so good because it is weaker, so you might just have to grin and bear it for a while but it might get better. actually, now that i think about it, it didn't feel so good for about a month after i had the baby but i did persevere after an embarrassing coughing incident. yeah, that's right, i remember now, rather than the frankly semi-masturbatory experience i enjoy now it felt kind of empty, hollow IYKWIM?
are you sure you are doing them properly? the best advice i ever got was to imagine you are sucking a tampon up inside you. somehow, that really helped me to get them right.
anyway, good luck with your poor pelvic floor, at least you know you aren't a freak.

surroundedbyboys · 22/07/2006 21:14

oh hooray aitch - maybe thats it. my pelvic floor is incredibly weak after having had a mild prolapse after ds2 birth, and have just had ds3 by c/s. i think i do it right, don't think that is the problem. so ok, on your word i am willing to grin and bear it in the hope that it will get better (and then maybe i can too 'get off on it'). hooray, spontaneous orgasm, here i come....

been referred for a bit of physio on my downstairs also, so maybe that will help get it into nick a bit faster.

No surroundedbyboys. you are not alone. My pf is incredibly week (and my younbgst is 2). I have always had a problem doing the execises. For me, it is just too uncomfortable.

Beauregard · 22/07/2006 22:03

I get funny tingling in my feet when i do them, what the hell is that about?

naswm · 22/07/2006 22:04

how low did your pf fall then pelvicfloornomore????

surroundedbyboys · 22/07/2006 22:06

naswm - thats the depressing thing - we are the ones who need to do it the most, but find it too uncomfortable. how would you describe the feeling? i need to describe it to the physio woman i think - because i guess its all nerves and muscles down there and they are pretty interelated.
while i'm embarressing myself i'll ask - do you find it easy to orgasm from penetrative sex. oooooh lord, can't believe i'm asking these questions

tingling in your feet - bloody hell, we are all freaks!!!

OP posts:
Beauregard · 22/07/2006 22:06

shit didn't think it was that bad !
Does that mean i have a prolapse between by toes?

SSSandy · 22/07/2006 22:07

LOL this cracks me up! It has also motivated me to do the exercises.

surroundedbyboys · 22/07/2006 22:10

am soooo regretting asking that further question now. probably far TMI, but my theory is my nerves and muscles are a bit buggered up and that's why i don't find it easy to orgasm that way.

naswm · 22/07/2006 22:17

aitch71 · 22/07/2006 22:39
