how long for uvulitis to go?

ds2 has pussy spots on his uvula (dangly thing at the back of your mouth) been treating with hot lemon and honey, ibuprofen and turmeric in warm water.

Doesn't look yellowy/white anymore (day 3) more like a grey silvery ulcer on the end. Wondering whether to take him to the Dr or just sit it out. No temperature. Anyone know what else I should be doing?

Gargle with bergamot essential oil in water. Works a treat for any throat infection. Tastes a bit vile, but works fast.
Sipping Earl Grey has the same effect - it's flavoured with bergamot.
