Chest X-ray concerns....

Hi. Db has recently had a chest X-ray following a severe chest infection and has been called back to the gp next week to discuss the results. He's spoke to the doc when he made the appointment, who has told him that it's nothing 'sinister' but that it may require some follow up in the form of another X-ray. I know speculating isn't healthy but he (and the family) is somewhat worried and 'talking' on here seems better than Googling! Has anyone experienced this? What could he expect to be told?

Hi smartie. It may well be that his chest X-ray shows some infection and he needs to have it repeated to make sure it's gone in 4-6 weeks. It really is quite common. Hope it turns out ok.
