Any1 else had problems with copper coil

I had two copper coils and I had terrible back pain and inflammation in my lumbar area. I ended up with 10 years of pain, before having the last coil removed and the pain went. I didn't realise how much harm it was doing me until I had it removed Sad

Filthy things, would never consider another one.

Yes. For 5 or 6 years it was great. Then I started having problems - pelvic pain and discharge over months and months. I was tested several times for NSU etc but tests were normal. In the end, I followed a hunch and asked my GP to remove my coil: it was black, as if it had gone rusty inside me! The pain was g
