Urgh.

So I can be a bit erratic, but my time frame is generally 30-36 days. Longest has been 38. I'm currently at 45 and getting somewhat concerned. I did a test on Saturday which was negative (a v v v v v good thing).

Boobs tender but I swear they just pick random days to do that anyway Grin

I've got a copper coil which is still where it should be.

I'm a bit stressy in the run up to Christmas but have had far far more stress the past few years and it's never affected my periods. Diet and exercise are the same.

Should I be concerned enough to get it checked out yet or keep plodding on a bit longer and see if it bothers to show up in a few days?

Can i ask how old you are Flames ? You could be perimenopausal as that is when periods tend to become erratic.

Flamesparrow · 17/12/2013 15:09

I'm 32

I would do another test and if that comes up negative, see your GP.

I usually have 30-35 day cycles, longest in the past has been 43 - I'm now on day 66!!

No advice I'm afraid, my GP has ordered some blood tests for my next cycle but first I need to get a period... just wanted to say you're not alone, and I know how incredibly frustrating it is!

Yep I've promised DP that if nothing by morning I'll retest and go. DD1 may have broken her arm though so I'll make an appointment after a&e...

Kinda sums up the month Grin

That doesn't sound fun Metal!! I've felt my normal pmt mood since I was due - which for me is incredibly paranoid and tearful. Obviously it continuing this long is getting to me slightly, and poor boyfriend is getting the brunt Sad

You might have ovarian cysts as i have these and my periods are irregular, very similar pattern to yours.

I work!! cheers insanely despite being curled up in a small hurty ball

I will still see the doctor though. I looked back through and I've not been over 33 days in six months. Such a jump I'm thinking I should mention.

Oh and DD1 did have a broken wrist...

Glad to hear AF has arrived for you OP!

I would probably wait and see how long your next cycle is as your GP is likely to dismiss it as a one-off, which it might well have been, and 2 weeks late is not that long... Totally up to you though of course.

And sorry about your DD, hope it heals soon!

Flamesparrow · 19/12/2013 15:14

The length of time it takes me to get round to appointment booking it'll probably be after next anyway! Grin
