Aspartame and stammering

Does anyone find that aspartame causes them to stammerr or have other neurological symptoms. Currently have DT2 (14) in hospital trying to work out what has caused this sudden onset together with a stabbing headache. Headache and stammer now subsided for the most part but this morning while trying to work out what was different in the days leading up to this aspartame was the only major change.

no have never had any strange effects from aspartame

My DS has a severe reaction to aspartame, but generally it is shaking and very severe diahorrea and stomach cramps. I think that headaches are a common symptom of aspartame intolerance

Thanks. Clutching at straws. Could be a virus or encephalitis.

Sorry can't give anything specific but I completely avoid aspartame and never let my kids have it. It is terrible disgusting stuff!

Usually the DCs don't drink no added sugar drinks. The DTs were at a school sleepover and that's what was provided with not much access to water. Looking now at the possibility that the stammering has been caused by stress but still considering other options.

Is aspartame the stuff n Diet Coke?

If so, I drink far too much for far too long and have never stammered or had any other neurological problems.
