Had them before but never this bad! Constant itching all day for about 3 weeks now. I think they're stress induced as I'm having a very tough time as of lately with my poorly DD :(

Does anyone know of anything I can do/take to ease the itching and swelling? TIA :)

Poor you. Have you tried piriton and calamine? Oatmeal in a bath is good too.

clio51 · 15/12/2013 21:06

As suggested anti histamines

louisea · 15/12/2013 21:54

Quercetin. A natural antihistamine.

Zirtec and zantac (ranatidine) together helped me - google for dosage - both over the counter

The only other thing I can suggest is to keep the area cold.
My worst part was my feet. I found putting them under freezing cold water gave me relief for a while. Also slept at times with a cold face cloth over them!

Thank you all for your answers will try them as nothing else seems to be working. Tonight they are 10x worse, not a part of me isn't covered, even over my face :( they're even on the backs of my knee caps. Just wish they would go away :( :(

Certirizine helps me. Also anti itch cream. Also Plonk. A porridge or oatmeal bath is good too. Poor you I feel your itches Sad

Go to the doctor! You might have chronic urticaria. I take two types of antihistamine every day and have done for 13 years. Wet flannels and oatmeal baths are not a sustainable solution although I very much hope that they've helped.
