Bathtime for 1 yr old- what do you use in the water?

She is now standing up and crawling everywhere and I am worried that when I stop using her bath seat (which I now need to do) she will make her way to the taps and haul herself up on hot taps and be hard to wash etc! Anyone been through this and got any tips? Is using a Bumbo a good idea?

I just used to sit mine on a bath mat. And not allow them to pull up as it is also dangerous from a slipping pov.

bath mat, and jsut keep an eye on them. Mine usualyl stand holding onto the side of the bath while I wash them.

bath mat. That's all. I keep an eye and they adapt pretty quickly. They learn to hold themselves in the bath. They do, or did, occasionally fall but as I was there it didn't matter.

Do not use a bumbo it is potentially dangerous, they don't suction so can tip over with baby wedged in it. I find a bath mat and plenty of toys to keep them intersted generally stops them from standing up.
