I've just managed to cut my finger , it's a tiny cut but it won't stop bleeding. How can I stop it?

Pressure - for longer than you think.

Put a plaster on it. Failing that put pressure on it for 2 mins (time yourself - it's longer than you think. ) By that time it should have clotted

Pressure and hold it above your heart level

Thanks. It's still bleeding but will carry on with the pressure. It's so small but the blood is everywhere!

I used to do this a lot working in a kitchen. It's amazing how much they bleed! I did find they tend to heal up fast though.

You can get a special plaster for it if you want to lol that sort of wraps round but probably not worth it!

Thanks! It just keeps soaking through the plasters! This is why I don't cook Wink
