Can't you sue the council for thousands of pounds? Obviously, as well as the physical injury, you are now mentally scarred due to the humiliation.

sue them. my dad did, didn't get much but was about a grand. take pictures of the hole and of your injuries and you should prob gop to A&E or GP too so that there is an official record of ur injuries

oh don't sue that's why our council tax is so huge (maybe )

get yourself to the dr's, so he can note your injuries, take pics and get a solicitor.

we all pay alot on council tax.............therfor they should be keeping the pavements etc 'safely usable'. they are not, so go for it.

and why not, its their fault for not keeping pavement in good repair.

they can't do everything, there aren't enough staff

but thats not 'our'problem. we pay taxes, and if they want to spend the money on silly 'art' projects etc its upto them, they have to plan what comes first.

maybe they didn't know the hole was there?? has someone reported it?

this is why we have rubbish parks and playgrounds - councils live under the shadow of being sued - and communities do belong to all of us

oohh, ill just pop out and get my cement to fill the hole in then..........councils spend too much money on other useless stuff, thats y we dont have decent parks.
