Has anyone tried Norethisterone?

I was given it to stop cervical bleeding a fortnight ago.

Have been fine with it until now. Had the works night out on Friday night and had a glass of wine, which left me feeling a bit rubbish. Took tablets as usual on Saturday, but have felt severely nauseous since. I can eat, but can't shake the nausea, and my appetite is odd.

I haven't taken any more tablets since Saturday.

Any ideas? Online it says to take the tablets with food to prevent nausea, but I'm not taking them at the moment, and my doctor is away.

I despise it because of the side effects - nausea, headaches, extreme mood swings.. GP told me to take it to stop a 4 week period. Managed it for I think 2 or 3 days and gave up..

I would keep trying (I'm still bleeding and am drained), but if you really are struggling, see the GP - they might be able to prescribe the pill instead or give you anti sickness meds.

Thanks for replying! I'm already on the pill. Period wise I'm usually fine, so all the blood is very new and stressful!

I may call the doctors again tomorrow. All I managed to get today was another emergency pregnancy test (4th this week) and the recommendation to call back when the doctor is back.

The nausea is killing me :(
