Initial side effects on the pill - advice please.....

Have just started taking the combined pill again after a break of around 7 years. It's a low dose combined pill - mercilon and I am about a week and a bit into my second month.
So far I am having breakthrough bleeding, not heavy mostly just when I wipe, and also I have been feeling quite sick and bloated. I just wanted to know if this is to be expected as my body adjusts to it and how long does it take??

I'd give it 3 months.

TBH, the ones that I tried that caused problems continued to cause problems and the ones that didn't were ok from the start - but that is a long while ago - and they usually say to give it a good go.

Is it the same as your previous one?
