Whilst scoffing a delicious roast potato, it's got really rough metal edges.
Any advice on how to flush it out would be gratefully received Blush

I think you need to go to a and e to be honest. If you're reluctant to do that you could call 111 but I suspect they'll send you to a and e anyway.

If it has rough edges, it could cut you internally and do serious damage.

Doctors can x ray, check where it is, and decide whether they need to remove it.

Yes, certainly an A&E job. Rough metal edges and delicate organ linings don't mix. Also, things tend to get smaller as you move down the system, so what may not cause such a problem now may do a bit further along.

Oh no! Home alone with DS. Will call 111 and seek advice. Thanks Vatta.

Hope it all works out ok, let us know how you get on

Called 111, they agree an X-ray is required but say ok to wait until the morning, unless of course any symptoms appear.
Made my Mum search her dinng room in case it flew out of my mouth (I know it didn't)!
Hopefully will be straight forward natural expulsion!
Thanks all!
