I've just been to the loo and the results were literally bleak. Hmm what does it mean? Completely black, I tell you.

Black poo? Eaten anything black?
If like coffee grounds, you need a doctor as could be internal bleeding but would have thought you would also feel ill.

LeonardoAcropolis · 08/12/2013 17:46

Could it have been very dark green, rather than black?

nbee84 · 08/12/2013 17:47

Have you taken an iron supplement?

Jacksmania · 08/12/2013 17:48

Have you been taking iron?

OnTheBottomWithAWomansWeekly · 08/12/2013 17:48

Did you drink a lot of red wine or Guinness last night? Either of those give me lovely black poo!

Jacksmania · 08/12/2013 17:49

X-post with nbee

I would get this checked out unless there is an obvious cause based on medication or something you have eaten.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 08/12/2013 17:54

Thanks everyone! Yes, back in iron after 2 weeks of break (couldn't get to the chemist). And had a coffee too. I started to suspect the sushi I had earlier.

There was a tinge of green I noticed as I cleaned the toilet bowl.

It's doctor prescribed ferritin.

I'd think it's the iron then. But do get it checked if it keeps up.

ChestyNutRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 08/12/2013 19:13

Iron gives you black poo.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 08/12/2013 19:17

It's not any old black poo,
It's an M&S iron green tinge black poo.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 08/12/2013 19:19

Actually it's a Green & Blacks poo!
