Absent periods - always bad?

I've not had a period since I got pregnant with DS3, now 15 months. I was bf, still do a comfort feed every now and then, I have lost four stone in the last year and I exercise regularly. Oh, and I also was sterilised during the elective csection to get wee man out. According to the NHS website any one of these factors could account for lack of periods. And frankly I don't miss them. My mum is nagging at me to go to the docs, but appointments are like gold dust, I'd have to book time off work or drag small children with me and right now I feel like I've got better things to do with my time. So, my question is, with no other symptoms, are absent periods actually anything to be concerned about?

I was going to mention pcos but that is probably not the issue. Why not have a mention to to just to put your mind at ease. It never hurts to look after yourself.

Thank you MrsWellyboot, I was afraid that would be the answer Grin although I'm not concerned as much as curious!
