DD (14 months) is behaving a bit strangely the last few days, she's happy and playing / eating normally, goes down as normal at 7pm but wont sleep longer than a few hours at night b4 waking and needing lots of cuddles and love and wont let me go once I'm in her room, she's so clingy she'll only fall asleep in my bed where I leave her until she's fast asleep then transfer her to her own bed. She doesnt seem to be ill or in pain, just not herself. This morning DH got up with her and she screamed for ages wanting me, a sure sign she's not feeling well. Then she just fell asleep in middle of playing! Just put her head down and went to sleep, she's never done that even when a newborn.
I'm just concerned as this is unlike her. I pretty sure it's not teething as she's got most her teeth now and I think we're having a bit of a break from that. A few days ago she broke out in a nasty itchy rash all over her torso and back, it's nearly gone now but still concerning me.
Any ideas?

A combination of hot weather and just not feeling quite right? Lots of cuddles and fluids.

teething plus separation anxiety?

My DS has just been this way the last coudple of weeks too... I know he has 5 (!) teeth coming through, so I understand he is in pain. But he is also definetely more aware all of sudden of "where did mummy go"? He was never bother before if I left him in a room while busy in another for a few minutes...

Hope it passes fast!
