Strong odour and abnormal smear, any link?

I've just been advised I have high-grade dyskaryosis and need a colposcopy. I have had this procedure before, about ten years ago, so I'm not overly concerned. However I have recently noticed a strong odour from down below, which I presumed was just mybbody changing following the birth of my second baby, but now I'm wondering if the odour and abnormal smear are linked? Anyone have any experience of this?

Lanbro. Been through the colpscopy. Just wanted to bump. I think you need to clarify is the odour unpleasant? Just because Always San products are trying to convince us otherwise doesn't mean vaginal odours are always unpleasant. If you think it is unpleasant you need to see your gp.
