Googling my symptoms - someone stop me!

I am 46, had no periods for 15 months, then out of the blue period started and is still going strong, nearly 5 weeks later!

I know this is probably menopause related but am scaring myself as I feel bloated, tired, not as much appetite and googling keeps bringing up ovarian cancer Sad

I have a doctors appt next Tue but feel like I am going mad and worrying myself 'sick' Recent smear test was clear.

Step away fro doctor google!

You need something to keep you occupied until your appointment

What do you like doing to distract your self?

Thanks ilike - symptoms have eased over the last few days, thank goodness so will be calm and rational now until I have seen my GP ( and then start worrying again )

You are doing the right thing going to the doctors...so stop googling!!

If my experience is anything to go by, they will refer you to a gynae clinic as a matter of course where they will do full investigations. It might be nothing.
(and was all clear for me, just one of those things)
