Anyone have teeth marks on side of tongue?

Have been having a good look inside my mouth the last week or so, as I have a large ulcer under my tongue and my mouth and tongue has been feeling sore, and I've noticed that I've got really strong teeth indent marks on the side of my tongue. I've had a look in my family's mouths and no one else has.

Does anyone else have these? Are you well or do you have any regular aches/pains or digestive problems? I know the tongue can indicate health problems, but on looking this up loads of different things are coming up.

Me too. Bad at the moment, because I am not coping that well with work stress, and my jaw is aching from it, plus it gives tension headaches. Having just stopped to think about it for this thread, I can feel my tongue pressing against my teeth.

Mine is like that too. I'd read it was a sign of dehydration?

I just came across this thread because I was talking to someone about teeth marks on the tongue. Tigerblue, the teethmarks are completely normal, in fact, they're a good sign because it shows your tongue is in the correct position at the roof of your mouth. Tongue is supposed to be there so as to create room for all your teeth; if the tongue doesn't do this, the jaw can become too small and as a result, the teeth go wonky. You can look into Dr. Mew's work, and also look up orthotropics if you want to find out more. So don't worry about teeth marks, and the ulcers tend to be temporary so hope it all healed quickly.

So I woke up today at 2:35am with a tooth and jaw ache on my left side while waking up in the morning I've been realizing i been leaving tooth marks on my tongue should i feel super worried ?
