he insisted on having the sick bowl to hand and now he is still asleep.8.45

He is more clammy than hot this morning, but this normally is a boy who is in jumping on our bed a 7.00 by the latest.
DH is away, so when DS woke at 3.00, I put him in the bed with me. He was slept, I didn't.
All of this, I can deal with, but just before I got up to call the school he twitched several times in his sleep.
Now as I type this, I realise that the twitching was probably unrelated and I feel like a random nutter or a hysterical mother.
But I will post anyway.

sherlock can you take him to the doctor

wouldn't worry about the twitching .. but I would be concerned at the drowsiness and feeling sick and would get it checked out

you're not hysterical at all ...

SherlockLGJ · 14/07/2006 09:11

He is up and appears to be fine, but I have an appointment at 4.00 to be on the safe side.

God Motherhood, makes a wreck of you doesn't it.?

Hope he's all right, LGJ. Good plan to take him to the doctor. Have a nice cup of tea.

zippitippitoes · 14/07/2006 09:25

Hope he is fine today

why does it always happen like that?

SherlockLGJ · 14/07/2006 09:33

And to make matters worse..............do you think I could find the thermometer in the middle of all of that ?? Of course not. ggrrrr

Concussion.

But............the high temperature is something else, so we need to wait and see what that produces, God for a child who is rarely ill, he always does it in style when he is. Poor little lamb.

oh poor wee thing

is he ok now or are you on vigilance patrol?

SherlockLGJ · 14/07/2006 18:34

A bit of both, he had an ice lolly for lunch.

When the doctor was trying to look in his eyes, he kept blinking, so eventually I said, keep still darling I will get you something nice in Waitrose.

The Doc looked at me and laughed and said, how very Surrey.

Actually, I was thinking how very MN.

SherlockLGJ · 14/07/2006 18:37

Oh the shame..........and I don't like Johnnies clothes.

I'll get my coat.

LGJ and Twiglett leave together, to celebrate her birthday, with other members of the clique.
